A guided 3 hour walking tour about Georgian Neoclassical New Town.

Join a group of like-minded architectural enthusiasts to learn the history and principles behind the masterplan of the New Town, understand the building materials that describe Georgian Edinburgh, and discuss architectural details harking back to the Ancient Greece and Rome.

Along the way we will appreciate beautiful ironwork such as streetlights, railings and bootscrapers, learn the political and social context of the New Town, discuss the works of of Robert Adam, William Chambers, William Henry Playfair, and more.
